Executive Director
Laurie Read brings over two decades of experience in senior care to her role as Executive Director at Heartis Peoria. She began her career in 2000 as a Human Resources Manager in a skilled nursing facility and soon advanced to the role of Assistant Administrator while completing her degree in Long-Term Care Administration. A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Laurie transitioned into Assisted Living leadership in 2019, where she continues to pursue her passion for enriching the lives of seniors.
Laurie and her husband of 29 years reside in Henry, IL and enjoy a close-knit family life with their three children, Nathan, Jordyn, and Alisyn, and their beloved grandchildren, Salem and Halle. Outside of work, Laurie finds joy in cooking Sunday meals for family and friends and cherishes time spent with loved ones.
